He has been her pen pal for many years now. Something that
is new in this digital age. In his previous letter, he had written that he
would be visiting her town in December. She was very excited. She was totally
in love with him, and refused to marry anyone else. He too loved her a lot and
was very anxious to meet her in person.

He had sent a telegram to her “How would I recognize your house?”
She replied with trembling fingers “It stands with your
favorite colors painted on the roof”
He walked with flowers. She baked cookies for him.
Finally after 55 years, two 70 year olds, friends meet, to
share that last cookie and their treasured kiss.
