FF: Am I in love yet?

PHOTO PROMPT © Roger Bultot

I knew I loved her. But, I wasn’t sure if I was “in love” with her. I wanted someone to validate it for me. I know I sound really shallow but that’s how it is.

Here I am, standing in this grand ballroom of this ancient house with so many people here to witness our wedding. I am on the verge of a nervous breakdown, I want someone to tell me that I love her.

Then I look up, I see her coming down the spiral stairs, looking like a regal angel in white. The radiance on her face is mesmerizing.

I see twinkly fireworks in my head. It’s I guess God’s way of making me fall “in love” with her finally.

  7. Tricky to distinguish between 'in love' and love. The first fizzles fast, the second lasts. Since he foung both there's hope. Lovely story.
