In that quaint little café
He played there from the time he was twenty
Fans he gathered were in plenty

So many movie background music offers her had
He rejected all, that crazy lad

He played only in that café, not many knew why
He had his eyes for this girl, pretty and shy

One evening she came with a man
He tried to keep a brave face as much as he can

He cried that night on the table where she sat
On his shoulder there was a pat

She stood there with a smile on her face
His heart started to race

He met his forever there
That is why he played only in that café
