My biggest dream has been to buy a house.
Someday, while working on it, that house became a home
The house of brick and cement
Became a home with love and family
'
The best hotels can't match the coziness of my messy home
The nicest sleep is always on my own bed rather than the plushiest bed anywhere
Wherever I travel, there are so many things that remind me of home
Smell of coffee, that freshly baked bread
My favorite corner beside my bed
That peeling wallpaper
My home is not perfect
But, its special
It is Mine.

I agree. Nice hotels are a nice treat at times but home is usually where our needs are.

I know what you mean - I/we rented and finally after I graduated with my doctorate we could finally afford a down payment for our home - it's such a different feeling - the house is part of you, and visa versa. Good for you! Thank you for your kind comment on my blog!
