Mag: Its Talent & Tech

The power of photography and technology amazes me.
This picture might look ghostly, spooky, even disillusioned.

But in real, its a 7 year old in pale pink frock going round and round.

The camera is placed on a tripod in front of her, capturing in a very low shutter speed, similar to light photography.

And a little editing here and there, changing the colors into black and white & TaaDaa, we have a complete different image to present to the world.
PC: My husband Ashwin Kumar. This is light photography.Look closely and you can see a faint outline of a man standing. That is my father.

This post is written for Magpie Tales - Mag 303

  1. Is that right! It has all the makings of an adult model and taken by a pro photographer.

    1. I agree, Thanks for dropping by Hank :-)

  2. Dee, How have you been? . I was away from blogging for sometime now. Missed your blog which I used to visit very frequently. Now, I am back!

Interesting take on the prompt. I never saw it in that angle. May me this requires some understanding of photography:)

Read my though on the same image:

    1. Hey, I was wondering of where you vanished. I have missed you too. Welcome back. Can't wait to read your posts again

  3. A behind the scenes look. It is amazing yhe process behind certain shots, sometimes it is simplier than I think.

    1. I agree
so many times its way simpler than we actually think
