"Mommy, I see warmth in
that window"
"Don't look there baby,
we are animals, we are meant to be out"
"Mommy, if they can't
take care of us, why do they have us? We have such a short life and half the
time is spent waiting for them to notice us and give some love”
“Child, the word compassion
is getting lesser everyday as the world is growing closer with technology. We
don’t know technology. But we know love”
“I love you Mommy”
They can't speak for
themselves they need you. Make their Christmas a merry and a warm one too

DeleteIt is great to see things from the animals piont of view. Perhaps humans will soon be able to dine off technology and then we will leave the poor old animals in peace.
ReplyDeleteI hope someday humans do think about the animals...
DeleteThanks for dropping by Mike :-)
A great lateral take on the prompt. I particularly liked your line: "Mommy, if they can't take care of us, why do they have us?

Honestly why keep animals if you can't care for them?
ReplyDeleteThere are many uncared, ill-treated poor helpless animals out there
