I brought a pretty looking doll in a garage sale held in
another town. We came home and I placed the new doll, Carrie with all my other
doll collection.
I noticed something eerie about that doll, I dismissed that
thought and slept.
That night, just after 2pm, the door to the shower opened,
and I saw the shadow of a little girl.
She looked straight into my eyes and said “My name is
Annabelle, never call me Carrie ever again”
I am giving away this doll for free, please text me if
anyone would take it.
This post is written for Friday Fictioneers
Call her Annabelle, and get to know her secret life :)

Wow. Creepy! I think she should get her out of the house as soon as possible - whilst making sure she's as comfortable as she can make her, just to be sure.

Some dolls really are spooky. I bought one at an op shop today...more of a decorative Country style thing than a children's doll. I hope I won't be seeing her flying on my broomstick any time soon. She's out near the laundry.
ReplyDeleteWell done.

Um.... thanks for the offer, but I'll pass. I've never been a big fan of dolls. Especially the ones that talk. At least it wasn't Chucky.
ReplyDeleteAlice sweety, I love your writing and would love to "gift" you this doll as a token of appreciation :P
DeleteThanks for dropping by :-)
Ha, I was just thinking "this is going to go all Stephen King" when the name "Carrie" came up :-)
ReplyDeleteOMG I didnt think of it in that angle at all.
DeleteMaybe next time sometime. Thanks for the idea Alistair :-)
Sounds like her name should be Chatty Cathy. Time to put her up for adoption. - Russell
ReplyDeleteI wonder what will happen if I stab that doll
