FF: Leaving on an airplane

I'm in the flight. I am in no mood to hear any announcement. I don’t want to smile at the friendly air-hostess. I solemnly look outside the tiny oval shaped window. I see the airplane speeding on the runway. My heart is racing at the speed of this plane. With a tiny jerk, I can feel the plane take off the ground. The tears in my eyes couldn’t stop no more, slowly they started flowing down my cheek, clouding my vision.

It was that heartbreaking moment of first time leaving my parents’ house, my city, my friends and moving to a new place forever.

  1. Dear Dee Dee,

You captured the feelings of leaving. Nicely done.
