Mag: Past

*sitting at the shrink's office in a hypnotic state*

My name is Melissa, I am 29 years old. I went to England for my honeymoon with my husband, we reached this beautiful National park in Greater Manchester. Somehow, this placed looked very known to me. A feeling of déjà vu washed over me.

I touched this gate, and started feeling dizzy. I saw soldiers on their horses charging towards we with their swords. Its raining and the ground is slippery. I try to run.
My family has crossed this gate. I see a lady in a peasant outfit with a scarf around her head calling me but she isn't calling me Melissa. She is calling me "Burnett".
I look down at myself, my clothes are tattered, wet and muddy. I have a badge on me, It says "343 Burnett Thorns"
I don't understand. I was wearing a pretty sundress and who is Burnett
I turn back to see a horse few meters away from me. I smile at that lady who is furiously crying now and close my eyes. I can feel the sword coming towards my neck.

*waking up screaming and all sweaty, I look around*

I am at the shrink's office in Canada.
My husband is siting right across me and my doctor is scribbling something in his notepad.

What happened? Who is Burnett? Who am I?
What was that?
