She lived in a mango tree
From the time she was three
With golden hair & blue eyes she was born
Like her mother who has been buried for long
Her step mother envious & ugly at heart
She killed her father and tore him apart
This golden girl she couldn’t harm
For she was protected by God’s own arm
That’s why she locked the girl on a mango tree
And swore that she will never go free
Years later, came a college guy
With a car, a bandana, a guitar music so high
He saw this beautiful young girl above
And fell so much in love
With music he confessed his feelings for her
And promised to save her from her stepmother
He called the cops & got the mother arrested
And freed his love, from the place she rested
Thus, here is a modern fairy tale
Of her who lived on a mango tree
This post is written for Monday Finish the Story - Mango Tree
