FFAW: Just another day

PC
Today is another Monday, the weekend is another many days to go.

The weather is dull, gloomy, and rainy, all I want to do is curl up under my duvet and sleep, but alas I have to get up and go to work.

And seriously, till I get my first coffee of the day, I just cannot have small talks with any living being. So, since I need an expert advice on what to wear, I put glasses on my 7am friend Mr. Coff-man.

He is strong, He is sweet, He energizes me and I love him.

So, starts another day of my life with a little bit of imagination to make my dull life happy.

FFAW: Drowning Waters

PC: TJ Paris
Last year, same day, same place, I remember all us seven friends were here. Laughing, squealing, drinking, having fun, then that night changed everything.

Little did we know this calm looking morning waters, turn monstrous in the night. Little did we know that these waters would lure our weak-hearted and drunks towards it and drown them.

I remember, the next morning five out of my seven closest friends were gone, forever.
It was then, they told us about the ‘Legend of the Drowning Waters’

The lessons we learnt, never stop in any unknown place ever, however beautiful it might look.

WPS: Blessing is disguise

It was 7am in the morning and the sun fell on the beautiful holy place. This place is known for not having shadows at any time of the day because of the way it was built.

The myth was, the shadow fell, only when the Lord answers a sincere prayer.
5 Red Square, Moscow, Russia

“how could you be so nasty Wayne?’ came a wail from the top floor of the building.
“We stay right opposite to the holy place, and look at you” was the same pleading voice again.

The priest of the holy place felt a pang of pity for the woman. He then saw her kneel next to the window facing the holy place and pray.

At that moment, a miracle happened, the shadow of the holy place fell on the woman’s window like a blessing.

The shadow was not a myth anymore.

WPS: Gullfoss Falls

We parked our car at the bottom of the hill. The climate was a bit dull, it was cloudy and looked as if it might rain.

Far away, we could hear the gush of the waterfall. Well, from the time I was a little kid, I have thing for waterfalls, I wanted to be that bird or the fish that takes a dive from the top to the bottom of the falls. I have forever been curious of where the falls might be originating.

Here, we had stair and an access to see the falls. Luckily, it had been raining for the past whole week, and we were sure that there would be water in the falls, instead of that almost drying tiny stream.

We ran as fast as our feet could take us up the stairs, we got tired. Then slowly emerged that magnificent Gulllfoss falls.

FFAW: Black Bride's Curse

PC: Joy Pixley
“Bridge of the lost bride” is the name of this bridge. It’s famous for brides going missing from here on full moon and no moon nights. Though, except for the elders, no one in the town believed that anymore.

SPLASH, is all what was heard that night. The people passing by, paid no heed to the splashing water or the gasps. They thought, maybe it was just the kids trying to act all spooky on the Halloween. Next morning, the police found a pretty teen, wearing a bride’s Halloween gown, lying on the rocks below the bridge.

It was Vicky who laughed and made fun about this cursed bridge. Only, that night did she realize that the myth was indeed true, when she sat to count her treats and the hand of black bride pulled her down and everything then turned dark, the black bride had struck again.

FFAR: Going Away!

Hi Guys,

I am Hirvi. My name is inspired from an Indian language "Marathi", it means Green
Suits me!

Well, I saw this poster today, with my picture.
Don’t I look cute?
And it said “Venture across America” & asked ‘where will I go next?”

Hmm..well let’s see…how many options do I have?

Very few

Why?

Because I love the green, I love the jungles but you human’s have destroyed everything I loved & made green jungles into concerete jungles
You stole my home, you dried my river.

Now, you ask me where will I go next?

I will go extinct. That’s where I am going next EXTINCT

Lantern
https://pixabay.com/en/lantern-old-lantern-brush-sack-316689/
“Didn’t you bring a shovel?” asked One to Two with a grin on his face

"No, actually I think that man who comes here everyday while we sleep has taken it with him" said Two with a smile on his face

"Fine, Now turn down the fire lantern, you know we hate light right?" said One

"Ok" * pause and eerie silence

"Hey, One, I found the brush...now lets start tickling everyone who is sleeping around here" said Two
"Dude, what is the point..all of us are anyways forever smiling" said One

Resigned & tired now Two said "Fine, lets just clean our tombs, its sunrise time"
And they vanished

Sun rose slowly, and the first rays of light fell on the cemetery where more than 1800 people are buried.
One and Two and skeletons of someone who is buried here, and its known that skeletons do not need tickling, they keep smiling always
