My theme for this year is called "A Piece of Me" #APOM
I would be sharing a tiny piece of my life in pictures
Q for Quilling
I have this thing of learning new things. I love DIY's so I learnt crochet, I learnt origami, and my recent passion was paper quilling.
I am a jack of all trades but no harm in trying my hand on everything right.
Here is a picture of my tiny
quilling projects
1. First crochet project 2. Paper quilled jhumka 3. Paper quilled rakhi 3. Paper quilled danglers |
Gorgeous! There is always something special about making things yourself.
ReplyDeleteI agree, that satisfaction of seeing something handmade is the best feeling ever
DeleteThanks for dropping by Tracey :-)
These are beautiful works of art. Great job! It must have taken a lot of time and effort to make those.

DeleteThat's wonderful DeeDee! Hank will always have lots of admiration for those good with their hands. These can be seen and it is such a wonder to be able to go through the intricate foldings, twistings and cuttings. Hank is not good at it, more into poetry and art though! Keep at it Ma'am!

Visiting from A to Z - quilling fascinates me. I bought a quilled piece on a trip once and it is a souvenier I am still fond of. I don't quill but I do crochet, and have for some 45 years.
ReplyDeleteI am just learning crochet and quilling. Like I said, I am a jack of all trades :-)

It's been ages since I've seen quilling. My brother got into it bigtime after seeing a how-to in Better Homes and Gardens magazine. He used the technique to make really beautiful snowflake Christmas ornaments.

Wow! I should try the snowflakes now. Thanks for sharing Laurel :-)
DeleteOh, that's really cool! I've seen paper quilling before, but I never knew what it was called, so thanks for teaching me. :)
