DeleteMmmm red velvet. My mom used to make red velvet cakes when I was a child. Then when I moved to Australia, nobody had heard of it until about five years ago when it became all the rage in foodie circles.

It sure looks yummy, I've never tried to bake one of these. The last carrot cake I tried to bake did not turn out. I think I grabbed the wrong flour (self-rising instead of cake flour)

Really Delicious, red velvet has become so popular where I live in upstate New York. We can even buy red velvet candy bars.
