3WW: Good-Bye

I was at work when I wrote this post. As usual, I logged in and typed  "Three Words Wednesday" , the site that I have memorized for my Wednesday afternoons.

I read the first line and tears welled up my eyes, I have been associated with you for only two years, but have come to love the prompts.

I wipe my tears haphazardly smudging my kohl in the process, before any of my colleagues notice that I was crying.

Good-byes are hard on me. I keep thinking, about why's and what if's

Thank you 3WW for a wonderful two year journey.

I am going to miss you.

Also, I am logging off before I start shedding more tears.

3WW: Wise Investment

Mom "Take care of my plants OK?"

Sleepy Joe grunted "yeah..." zzzzzzzzz

Joe forgot all about the plants and the day mom was returning back, he realized that he had forgotten to water the plants.

He ran out to the balcony and say dried and decaying lifeless plants.

This was major crisis, his mom will kill him for killing her roses.

He didn't know what to do. His mom came home that evening. Before even she could ask him anything. He started to cry out of embarrassment.

Mom sighed "High time that I invested on some self watering pots"

3WW: Not Acceptable

He bit her neck in the elevator

She felt violated.

How dare he touch her without her permission?

She felt molested

His anti-climax was "C'mon, I am sure you enjoyed it too"

Moral: Anyone touching anyone without consent is not acceptable.

The way she seductively smiled and tilted her head side ways.

The way her dark locks fell over her eye

The way she kissed him with that urgent passion

Is what made him cheat on his loving wife.

3WW: Don't waste water

This post is written for Three Word Wednesday - parched, rotund, scandalous

Everyone in this village were thin. The land in this village started to crack. The villagers looked at the sky that was burning of the heat from the sun.

The land and the people looked parched.

Just then a fancy car stopped by and a group of merciless teenagers got down. While others looked around a rotund, mean looking boy got out a huge water bottle, took two sips and poured the rest of the water on he ground.

The villagers gave him a scandalous look.

All that a calm, leader of the village told the boy "You waste water now, you will not have water ever"

Will this change the teenagers the mind?

3WW: Lonely

He made himself hateful

He did everything wrong

People stopped talking to him and named him incorrigible

But, in real he was just a lone hurt man with a gaping void in his heart

All he wanted was love and someone to care about him

Was that too much to ask for?

3WW: My Pink Dress

The old saying "What you see is what you believe" doesn't hold true anymore.

Now 'What you see, what you read may also not be true"

Well, I order this super cute dress online. It had a fancy, elaborate description of how soft the silk is, how delicate the laces are and the pictures too looked so mesmerizing. I was in love with the dress in the picture and ordered it for my birthday.

And when you order anything online, the wait for it to be delivered to you id the worst.

The dress came a day before my bithday, I was as excited as a kid in the candu shop.

I open it....and my heart breaks

What I saw was a pretty baby pink silk dress with a lace bodice. But, what I got was a blotchy old looking filthy pink dress.

I still have tears in my eyes thinking about it, so much hopes were shattered.

3WW: Love at first sight

The woods with tall trees overlooked my backyard

That area of the house, we as kids were barred

One day while I was alone at home

I heard a beautiful rhythm that soon filled every room

I followed the sound, and felt it coming from the dark woods

I went as close as I could

Suddenly, I heard a raspy voice sing

It was hoarse but beautiful to my hearing

I was mesmerized, and I walked to the forbidden zone

There my singer sat, on the bank of the river, with tears in her eyes

In  moonlight, her radiance shone

I wanted to call out to her, but my voice seems lost

She felt a someone watching her and made a sudden pause

Our eyes met, she was frightened and I was at awe

She turned back and ran into the woods, while I stood there rooted at my spot

Twenty years past to that night

That was when I started to believe in "Love at first sight"

3WW: Before she fainted

He wanted her to die. That sadistic bastard, this was his 10th girlfriend. He slit the sensitive vein on her throat with a fine army knife. The blood spurted from the slit. There was shock in her eyes and mirth in his. She sat on the floor holding her bleeding throat, life floating in front of her eyes. Slowly, she closed her eyes with her palms tightly holding the slit wound.

With a smile on his face and a humm on his lip, he came to her and said "Good bye, my dead bird" and he scoured her blood on the floor and opened the main door, started his car and drove off.

She opened her eyes, she was in pain but not dead yet as he assumed. She limped her way out. A few college kids saw her bleeding and called the cops & the ambulance. She was tentative of what was going on around her. Her vision was blurring, amidst the crowd she saw a familiar mean smile.

She tried to say something, but her voice cord was slit, and she fainted.

She didn't want to go to the party today.
But she knew this would make him very happy.
She has been feeling nauseous, queasy, pukey all week
She decided to take her friend's advice and buy a self-test kit now.
She painstakingly went to the medical store, got the kit & got herself tested.
But, the time he came back home, all prepared to see her while.
He was pleasantly surprised to see his radiant wife
With a pregnancy kit showing positive

3WW: Always Happy

This story written below is a true incident and the character is me

I am a happy-go-lucky girl. When I was in high school, I used to get thrown out of my class for being a very naughty kid. Being asked to get out of the class, with my attendance marked were some joyous little moments.

Once, while I was asked to stand outside my classroom as a punishment. I was playing with paper planes and paper boats.

Suddenly, our professor comes our of the class and says in Marathi* "Nirlajj sada sukhi" (Ignorant/Shameless always happy)

*Marathi is an Indian language spoken in a Maharashta

Secrets of the fed

They made an enchanting statue of her

Anyone saying anything against her shall be beheaded was their rule

The were crazy, they were fanatical

One day, she herself decided to see her much publicized statue

She dropped in as a surprise

With tears in their eyes, giddiness they felt

Their goddess herself has graced her presence

They didn't want her to leave

Little did she expect, that they would tie her up in a golden casket

And bury her alive under her statue

That place now, has become holier than ever for them

An old story of twins in a small town

They looked alike, but one brought smile while the always would always frown

One was unselfish & nice

While the other twin people would despise

With the town's most eligible bachelor

Jealousy killed her sister inside

She wanted to be the bachelor's bride

Their looks that matched

An evil plan the twin hatched

She kidnapped her nice sister

And threatened to kill her

The evil twin took her sister's place in the altar

She was too sexual & acted amoral thought the bachelor

He probed more, and here is the winding of the story

He found out his real girl with some help of the others, 

The evil sister's plan was exposed

From that town she was forever disposed

That evening while the good sister stood at the altar

Her bachelor promised to protect her
From that day on, they lived happily ever after

This age when compassion is scarce

A bit of something upsetting is enough to send people in rage

That is when I pacify myself saying "Everyone loves everyone, they just don't know it yet"

But, what you lack is the compassion

You live in a society of give and take

Your caring attitude is so obviously fake

Oh God, someone please give him a bath

Scorning at everyone 

Throws expletives and spares no one

His face hateful & frowning always

It was a marvel when a BMW 3 Series came that evening to take him away

Its is said he is very clever and rich

His wife was a bitch

Left him and went to another man
He stopped her, tried everything a husband can

Months went by, he showed that he didn't care
He hardly stayed in his princely lair

He took to drinking and ruining himself

I wonder if it love or hurt that he has given up on self
