FFAW: Black Bride's Curse

PC: Joy Pixley
“Bridge of the lost bride” is the name of this bridge. It’s famous for brides going missing from here on full moon and no moon nights. Though, except for the elders, no one in the town believed that anymore.

SPLASH, is all what was heard that night. The people passing by, paid no heed to the splashing water or the gasps. They thought, maybe it was just the kids trying to act all spooky on the Halloween. Next morning, the police found a pretty teen, wearing a bride’s Halloween gown, lying on the rocks below the bridge.

It was Vicky who laughed and made fun about this cursed bridge. Only, that night did she realize that the myth was indeed true, when she sat to count her treats and the hand of black bride pulled her down and everything then turned dark, the black bride had struck again.

FFAW: Scars of my Heart

PC: TJ Paris
This is my home

This is where I saw his face
This is where I fell in love
This is where he held my hand
This is where he promised forever
This is where I bared my soul
This is where I began to care
This is where we kissed first
This is where we made love
This is where it all ended
This is where I was left alone
These were once, bare off-white walls
Now, bear the scars of my heart
This is where I want to be

This is my heart

FFAW: Wrong Drive

PC: Yinglan
Roger, chestnut hair, twinkly brown eyes, dimpled with a ready smile on his face. This 16 year old was the heartthrob of the school. Medium built; good at sports and academics.

Roger, was the captain of the football team, and had won several tournaments across the county.

Now, he sits in the audience area on a wheelchair, paralyzed with only his senses active. He feels the adrenaline on the field, he hears the boys scream, and he sees a missed goal. And he regrets that night, when he was drinking and driving to prove that he is cool

FFAW: Cars

PC; Phylor
Far far away, in the land of no humans, where the trees were green, there was no pollution, the cars drove on water; lived two kid cars; Silver Hoot and Blue Bagel.

Both of them were handsome, fast, young and the popular cars in school. All the car girls loved them. One evening Silver Hoot 7 Blue Bagel claimed to be the fastest cars in this planet.

To prove this, they did a cross forest race. While both of them were concentrating on winning, a beautiful brown horse overtook them with ease.
Both the cars stopped with a screech and were stunned. Looking at their faces the wise horse said “Life is one, fast has never helped, look around, enjoy life, end is SCRAP”

From them on, Silver Hoot & Blue bagel became best friends for life.

The first one was a surprise… and tough too” he said
"Yeah, he kept running around everywhere, but I must say he was quite good" She said

"I am glad you liked it, it was worth the effort" he said

"The others were good too, but the first was the best" she said looking lazily at him

"Now, that I have impressed you, can I now have a date with you?" he asked eagerly

"It is not the season yet" She dismissed him

"I know this isnt the season thats why I asked you for a date and not mate" He smiled mischiviously

"Ok Mr. Lion, where are we going hunting tonight?" She smiled pretty and he beamed too

This was a tiny conversation between a young lion and a pretty young lioness after he hunted her a juicy ostrich in the deep jungles of Africa

FFAR: I am a girl

I am born a girl
I will grow up to be a woman
I want to study
I want to help humanity
I want to achieve so much in life

I am a girl
I am taught to be subtle
I am taught to give up and adjust
I am taught to give chances to the boys of my family

I am a girl
I will grow up to be a woman
I see my mother giving up her desires and ambitions
I shall never be able to show what I am capable of
for, my hands are cut, tied restricted

I am a girl
Let me be free
Let me grow up to be me
I am a girl
Let me live

FFPP: Today I shall be free

mirror
https://pixabay.com/en/hand-spirit-dark-world-gateway-316639/
I had been waiting to hear those words my entire life…said the ghost of Adira who has been trapped in this mirror by that damned curse.

"The day a married virgin in white,
when the sun shall shine bright,
When those eyes of color blue shall look into you
That is the day out of this mirror you shall come through"

Today, this "just married" blue-eyed bride, is here to set me free. Her body, I shall use for the things, I only wished.

Today is the day, when 2400 year old Adira, will be 24 again.

FFAR: Going Away!

Hi Guys,

I am Hirvi. My name is inspired from an Indian language "Marathi", it means Green
Suits me!

Well, I saw this poster today, with my picture.
Don’t I look cute?
And it said “Venture across America” & asked ‘where will I go next?”

Hmm..well let’s see…how many options do I have?

Very few

Why?

Because I love the green, I love the jungles but you human’s have destroyed everything I loved & made green jungles into concerete jungles
You stole my home, you dried my river.

Now, you ask me where will I go next?

I will go extinct. That’s where I am going next EXTINCT

FFPP: Conversations

Lantern
https://pixabay.com/en/lantern-old-lantern-brush-sack-316689/
“Didn’t you bring a shovel?” asked One to Two with a grin on his face

"No, actually I think that man who comes here everyday while we sleep has taken it with him" said Two with a smile on his face

"Fine, Now turn down the fire lantern, you know we hate light right?" said One

"Ok" * pause and eerie silence

"Hey, One, I found the brush...now lets start tickling everyone who is sleeping around here" said Two
"Dude, what is the point..all of us are anyways forever smiling" said One

Resigned & tired now Two said "Fine, lets just clean our tombs, its sunrise time"
And they vanished

Sun rose slowly, and the first rays of light fell on the cemetery where more than 1800 people are buried.
One and Two and skeletons of someone who is buried here, and its known that skeletons do not need tickling, they keep smiling always

FFAR: Judgement

You saw us from far. You saw us talking animatedly. You saw me fall on her feet, at her heels.

You assumed we were fighting, you assumed that I fell on her feet to say sorry.

Do you know that this is my wife and she met with an accident and almost was paralyzed from legs down. She has struggled. Today, is the first dance after her accident and first time she wears heels. I bent down to assure myself that her ankle doesn’t hurt anymore

You have seen me, but you don’t know me. Don’t judge me until you know me

FF: Strange Village

PC: Udday
A city boy and a town architect Keith gets transferred to a village that is populated with just 2 families.

Every night Keith hears strange sounds coming from the abandoned photo booth that is right opposite to where Keith has been put up.

Keith wanted to run home the first week itself.

But, he resolved to find out the mystery. He couldn’t talk to the villagers, he assumed they spoke only their native language.

So, that night, a dog howled far away. The crescent moon was dim in the sky.

Keith walks up to the photo booth and sees

That the villagers are not villagers but a shooting unit & this is their set for a horror movie. Keith actually is in the wrong side of the river. His original village is a bridge cross away.

Flash: A dog & his man

I have a person. His name is Ron. He brought me home when I was a pup. He cried to me when his girlfriend broke up with him.
He hugged me and danced all around the room when he joined the army.
He said he would miss me, the day he was to be commissioned to Afghanistan. I don;t know where it is, but I hope my person is safe.

I haven't seen him for 18 months now. I stay with the pet care.

Then today morning, I could feel him, his presence, his smell around me. I barked all day. I was tied to the porch outside, but I knew my person is somewhere around.

And then I see him come by, in his uniform looking smart.
I break my leash and dash to greet my person, he sees me and breaks down.
That day, is the day we I realized that Ron is not my person, he is my reason to live.
